  • Overview: This is a design and inside sales specialist, responsible for managing kitchen/bath opportunities, selling both product lines, providing kitchen /bath design services as primary function and closet/garage design as secondary focus. This position is also responsible for managing builder accounts and assisting service personnel in the completion of projects.

  • Responsibilities: Design
  • Close opportunities and initiate the design process
  • Gather accurate and complete project information from the customer
  • Proactive with all contact and follow up
  • Provide drawings using Cabinetware or 20/20
  • Present drawings and specifications to customers and prospects
  • Present final contract, explain and have signed
  • Process appropriate paperwork and information in CRM
  • Complete engineering checklist (when available)

  • Meet, greet and assist prospective customers in our showroom
  • Follow up on opportunities in 24 hours and proactively manage contact activity
  • Follow up on every permit notification you receive
  • Manage account, contact, Opportunity and project information in CRM
  • Manage relationships and cross sell existing customers
  • Include a closet estimate on every kitchen/bath contract
  • Follow up on every kitchen/bath and closet/garage opportunity
  • Estimate the cost of projects and follow up opportunities
  • Forecast accurately and update forecasts continuously
  • Ability to prioritize on sales potential

  • Schedule installation of projects
  • Communicate with customer to update project schedule
  • Proactively help service department address outstanding cases
  • Assist service department to close open project cases
  • Required Qualifications:
  • CKD and CBD certifications a plus
  • Experience in kitchen/bath and closet/garage industry
  • Understanding of the kitchen/bath and closet/garage design
  • Design experience and an understanding of design trends
  • Outlook, Word and Salesforce (or equivalent)
  • Design Software: 20/20, Cabinetware or equivalent
  • Phone system experience Aptitude to learn new technology
  • Experience in inside sales and service
  • Kitchen/bath and/or closet garage design
  • Assist homeowners or builders make interior design choices
  • Work in a professional showroom environment

Qualifications

Job Description:
The primary responsibilities are to assist one or two of our sales persons with the creation and designing of cabinet / kitchen proposals. You will be required to maintain accurate records of your designs and meetings, to submit timely and accurate drawings / information to your assigned Sales Person and assist them in managing customers through the buying process from the initial meeting to installation when requested.

It is imperative we achieve high buyer satisfaction through good service, maintain competitive knowledge, be self-manageable and motivated as well as take initiative and direction well. In addition, we require our Sales Assistants to have a high level of people skills with the ability to persuade and take charge of design assignments for prospects entering our showroom if required.
