Update 2/2/12 - Another bill seeking to regulate designers has been filed with the Oregon Senate General Government Consumer & Small Business Protection Committee. Senate Bill 1521 proposes licensing all designers who practice commercial interior design. Although there are single family residential dwelling and retail exemptions, there would be economic and business implications for any members working with clients on offices, condominiums, etc.
